SURFER MIKE COOTS COMPETES IN ISA WORLDS WITH OUR SOLIDARITY BRACELET

Yesterday we took he opportunity to do some sightseeing around the city, and our surprise was to meet “The World Adaptive Surfing Championship”, which is being held in La Jolla (San Diego) from 8 to 11 from December. We had the great pleasure of meeting Mike Coots, the well-known surfer who in 1997 lost a leg due to a shark attack while practising his favourite sport.

Thanks to his mental strength and his spirit of achievement, with his orthopedic leg Mike has continued devoting his life to what he is most passionate about, the ocean, and also to spread the importance of respecting sharks.

Mike showed great interest in our cause and wanted to wear our solidary bracelet “The Impossible is just more demanding” to compete wearing it. For us it is an honour, since it is an example of overcoming and also how with struggle and strength you can save the obstacles to get what you want. We wish you good luck in this important competition, thanks for your support and for your example!

We carry on learning and making the most of this trip, we will continue informing you! Thank you for the great affection you are showing us!
